Beaches in Palm Beach County

It's been a while since we finished visiting all of the beaches in our county, so maybe I ought to finish this post! Those with links have previous posts on this blog, the others I'll try to describe a bit here, or at least add a picture.

Coral Cove Park - 9/17/2011 They gave it 3 suns, we gave it 2 1/2.

Dubois Park - 9/3/2012 They gave it 3 suns, so did we.

Jupiter Beach County Park - 7/14/2012 They gave it 3 suns, we gave it 4. (And after our time at the beach, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Schooner's Restaurant.)

Carlin Park - 1/1/2013 They gave it 3 suns, we gave it 4.

Juno Beach Park - 7/6/2013 They gave it 4 suns, we gave it 3.

Loggerhead Park - 8/24/2013 They gave it 4 suns, so did we. We enjoyed our last beach day before Michelle headed back to BYU.

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park - 10/26/2013 They gave it 5 suns, we gave it 4 1/2. There's pleny of parking, but it's a very long walk to the actual beach, all the way across the lagoon, although at certain times there is a shuttle available.

Ocean Reef Park - 10/18/2014 They gave it 3 suns, we gave it 4. There are plenty of shaded tables with grills, and the parking is quite convenient.

Riviera Beach Municipal Beach - 6/10/2015 They gave it 4 suns, so did we. Free parking is always a bonus.

Palm Beach Shores Park - 9/7/2015 They gave it 2 suns, we gave it 3. This beach has no parking, but it's only a couple of blocks from the Riviera Beach Municipal Beach parking area, and the fun Johnny Longboat's Restaurant.

Midtown Beach - 4/30/2016 They gave it 1 sun, we gave it 3. There are no public rest rooms, but the beach area is very nice, end of Worth Avenue.

Phipps Ocean Park - 8/6/2016 They gave it 2 suns, we gave it 3.

Richard G. Kreusler Park - 3/8/2017 They gave it 2 suns, we gave it 3. This beach has metered parking and refurbished rest rooms.

Lake Worth Municipal Beach - 7/15/2017 They gave it 2 suns, we gave it 3 1/2. It's a hike from the parking area, but there are plenty of parking spaces.

Lantana Municipal Beach - 11/18/2017 They gave it 2 suns, we gave it 1. Because of a retaining wall, there is very little beach here. Pay attention to tides. (Look at the great company we had for this visit!)

Ocean Inlet Park - 9/15/2018 They gave it 3 suns, so did we. This very small parking lot (on the other side of A1A) fills quickly; it took us several tries to get there in time to find a spot.

Ocean Ridge Hammock Park - 2/23/2019 They gave it 4 suns, we gave it 2. There's very little parking and no amenities.

Boynton Beach Oceanfront Park - 5/27/2019 They gave it 2 suns, we gave it 3 1/2.

Gulstream County Park - 11/1/2019 They gave it 3 suns, we gave it 3 1/2. This beach has a free parking lot, shaded picnic tables, and a playground as well.

Delray Beach Public Beach - 2/13/2020 They gave it 5 suns, we gave it 4. It's difficult to find streetside parking, but there are parking lots, although with a hike to the beach.

Atlantic Dunes Park - 7/10/2020 They gave it 4 suns, so did we.

Spanish River Park - 8/25/2020 They gave it 4 suns, we gave it 3.

Red Reef Park - 10/14/2020 They gave it 3 suns, we gave it 4 1/2.

South Beach Park - 3/3/2021 They gave it 3 suns, we gave it a 4.

South Inlet Park - 3/25/2021 They gave it 3 suns, we gave it 4 1/2.
