Another Windy Day at the Beach

 

We live in a beautiful world! And we had the opportunity to enjoy it on a sunny, but windy, day. Our destination was Spanish River Park in Boca Raton. This is a nice large park, and I'm sure it would be a wonderful place for a family picnic or barbecue, although you'll probably want to wait until the pandemic restrictions are lifted and you can enjoy the grills and playgrounds. You'll also need to save up a bit for the $20 per car entrance fee.

Apparently, there's also a nature trail along with access to the intracoastal. However, we were there for a beach outing, so we parked, walked through the tunnel and set up our chairs near the ocean. There wasn't any shade, but it was too windy for our umbrella. Good thing we packed sunscreen!

Swimming and reading, a nice relaxing way to spend a few hours!
