NeverBored in January
Don't you just love the start of a new year? It seems many people are hoping 2021 will be better than 2020. Although there were some disappointments, overall 2020 treated our family well. Let's hope that 2021 does the same. At least it's starting out great - lots to do to keep us busy and NeverBored!
Brad's family's visit:
and some sewing on my own - a bicycle bag for Clara:
This month's visit to Jonathan Dickinson State Park - mountain biking
This month's sunrise - Post #32
This month's "hiking book" hike (and camping trip) - Honore Loop at Myakka River State Park
This month's SWFMD visit - a dike hike at STA #1-West
This month's Natural Area visit - East Conservation Area (no public access allowed)
Some of this month's recipe experiments:
- Almond Toffee
- Macarons
- Cherna la Rusa
- Patty Melt Sandwiches (thought it was appropriate for dinner after our friend Patty's funeral)
- Cleaning out the old recipe binder - pasta, curried shrimp, challah, granola, and vintage tuna pies (from our meager budget college days)
Finally, we switched internet providers (now covered under our HOA), which meant having a new line installed, and started research on what to do when our cable service stops (no longer covered by our HOA). We're leaning towards going without; we'll see what happens!
