Beach Day #2 with Brad's Family

When you travel all the way from cold and snowy Montana to spend some time in Florida, just one day at the beach isn't enough. So we went back, this time to Loggerhead Beach. We took a quick detour to see the turtles, although we didn't stay long due to some remodeling taking place. Besides, the kids wanted to get to the water!

It's a bit of a trek from the parking lot to the beach, (especially if you park at the far end!), but at least there's a cool tunnel under the road to make it more interesting.

Can you tell that Grandpa wasn't interested in getting into the water? He was happy to set up camp at the top of the dune and feed snacks to little kids. (He didn't want sandy hands reaching into the bag of chips!)

I don't know if they're called tidepools in Florida, but the little shallow bay was the perfect spot for toddlers to play and big sisters to find seashells.

We took a break from the water to get out of the way of the big machinery!

One final rinse after being buried again! Thanks for helping us make some wonderful memories!!
