Dallas - Day One

A month after meeting one new grandson (see here), we flew to Dallas to meet another. This trip was a bit longer (which means I’ll need multiple posts to cover everything) because we took advantage of traveling on a national holiday. Happy Independence Day to us! 

Jeff has always been our Lego king, and that’s rubbing off on his children as well. So much fun! And I very much appreciated the birthday cupcakes Savannah created for me. I think she was more excited about them than my birthday brownie, but that didn’t stop her from eating the edible treat.

After a yummy summertime dinner (grilled hamburgers, corn on the cob and watermelon), we went outside to enjoy the extent of our fireworks celebration – throwing poppers on the sidewalk.
