William's Blessing Day

Let’s surprise everyone and post this on the day it actually happened!

William received a beautiful blessing from his father this morning, a reminder to me that Heavenly Father loves each one of us and wants each of us to get and stay on the covenant path. We’re so grateful that our children are teaching their children, even from a very young age, these comforting and guiding gospel principles which bring happiness into our lives. 

 

My favorite memory of the day was watching the interaction between Steven and William right after his blessing, the sense of utter trust on William’s part, and the promise of being a protector and defender on Steven’s, communicated spirit to spirit. They’ve already built a strong bond and I’m sure it will only get stronger. I was grateful to capture just a bit of at back at their home.

William likes the little bouncer just as much as Lynelle did. (And for the record, Michigan is much more pleasant in June than in January!) Don’t you just love all the expressions babies make?

We enjoyed lots of reading time, some relaxing play time, even a bit of nap time, and a delicious dinner, before taking a pleasant walk around the neighborhood, following the lead of our favorite 18 month old.
