Due to temple responsibilities, the car sat in the garage for a week before going on its first adventure.
It wasn't in the original plan, but Wayne ended up getting a new car for his birthday this year. He started looking at options when both of our old cars needed repairs earlier in the month. The plan was maybe to get something in December with the end of the year specials. However, he found what he wanted on the lot, and since it was a 2025 model, and they want room for the 2027 cars, we got a good deal on it. After spending a wonderful day in the temple with our new presidency, we drove to the dealer and wrote a giant check. Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband!
Then we got to celebrate the first day of his next trip around the sun by starting our new service in the temple. It's going to be an awesome year!
