Passing Through Texas

This year's road trip took almost an entire month - we left home on April 3rd and returned on April 29th - and covered just over 6,000 miles. We combined our annual national park camping trip with a baptism/baby blessing weekend and threw in a couple of other stops along the way. It was a marvelous adventure, and we're glad we were able to make some great memories.

Our first stop was in Dallas to visit Jeff's family. While there we celebrated a special three-in-one day: general conference, Easter and Austin's birthday. That included delicious food and holiday crafts. We also enjoyed the normal grandparent activities of reading, playing games, and going out to dinner. We packed a lot into a short visit, but that's what you have to do when time together doesn't happen very often. We'll be back sometime!
