Seamstress Savannah

 or An Easter Craft?

Miss Savannah has been working hard to develop new skills and was quite excited when her dad brought home a sewing machine (given to him by a client at work). She's done a lot of experimenting and has made bean bags and tote bags and other cute gifts. At some point, she decided it would be fun to make matching Christmas stockings for her family but didn't want to tackle that project on her own, so we made plans to do some sewing and crafting during our next visit.

Gather supplies, cut out shapes, sew them together, decorate with fabric paint, wait for it to dry, then document the results. Didn't they turn out great? Now they just need to wait for Christmas!

Doing a Christmas project was an unusual way to spend Easter afternoon, but it was the perfect activity for this year and will always be a great memory.
