Harp Recital

 

Because we were in town for a funeral, we also had the opportunity to attend a couple of other special events - a BYU football game and Clara's harp recital. She's been working hard for four years and it shows. We appreciate her willingness to share her talents with family and friends. 

They turned their living room into a recital hall and filled it with guests. Clara played all eleven pieces in the Suzuki Book Two, accompanied by her mother for one of them. (See program below.) David reminded us of the impression he was given while picking up Clara's first harp that this instrument would be an important part of her life. That's coming to fruition already.

It was a special treat to have Megan's parents come so we could spend time with them as well. 

Everyone's talented in this family, and we enjoyed some other performances as well, including a three-harp rendition of Carol of the Bells. The Christmas season has arrived!
