Christmas 2023

Christmas season is such a beautiful season, and we had a nice time celebrating this month, starting with hanging our decorations, taking a holiday staycation, and attending our ward dinner.

Part of our fun is seeing how our children and grandchildren are creating their own traditions. Here's just one example - visiting the "Light the World" giving machines.

Oh, and can you find our three grandsons in their ward's Christmas dinner/program picture? (Hint: It looks like one's a wiseman - the middle one, one a shepherd - closest to Joseph, and one a hat/hood-less sheep - wearing glasses.)

You can read all about our delicious feast on Christmas Eve here. Afterwards, we had our little program of Christmas music, made unique by the addition of a violin. Such talented grandsons we have. (And we have talented granddaughters as well!) We're so grateful they're willing to share their gifts.

We enjoyed our regular traditions on Christmas Day. First, cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs for breakfast, and Christmas Eve's leftovers for lunch and dinner. Then, opening presents, starting with the stockings. Finally, spending the afternoon putting a puzzle together.

Merry Christmas!!
