Beach Day #3

 

They came to go to the beach, so we had to go one more time before they left! For this third trip, we selected Lake Worth Beach. It was a cloudy day, but nice and warm, and no rain (at least, not until we were driving away), so we had a very pleasant excursion.

Someone carried the boogie board all the way to the sand, but then decided he really didn't want to get into the water, or even on it. His parents, though, were excited to test out the waves.

There's plenty to do at the beach without getting into the water, and we all had a great time. Notice the awesome "hammock" which completed the sandcastle tower.

As the clouds got darker and we got hungrier, we packed up the beach toys and walked down to Benny's on the Beach, where we had a delicious lunch before taking some tired bodies home. Good-bye, ocean! We'll be back someday!
