Juno Beach Pier

 

Now that Juno Beach Park came up on the "county park" list, it was finally time to pay our fee and actually go out on the pier. (You'll recall that we've been to this beach as a "beach" and to watch the sunrise, but those times we stayed on the sand.)

It's not the best park to have a picnic in - the tables are in the parking lot medians, and they're aren't any barbecue grills - but we ate lunch first anyway, then headed over to the pier.

We didn't go fishing, but instead watched the birds fishing. It was quite fascinating.

We made it to the end, turned around, and noticed the afternoon rain showers were coming from the west. We almost made it back to the car before it started raining!
