A Couple of Canyon Hikes

Grandpa likes hiking. Theo likes hiking. So, of course, during our visit we had to go on a hike. But because little boy's legs can't handle 10+ mile hikes, we had to find a shorter one. The quarter-mile Temple Quarry Trail was the perfect choice. The South Jordan cousins met us at the trailhead and off we went. Climbing on the big boulders was a great hit!

The first hike didn't take too long, so we decided to head a few miles up the canyon to take another short hike. This was to Lisa Falls, and, though unmarked, starts across from the parking area for Little Cottonwood Creek Trail.

It was a beautiful day to spend some time with some of our grandchildren (and their parents) and share our love of hiking and nature with them. We're so grateful for our King of the Mountain who wants to create new family memories!
