David's Visit - Around the House

In between our outings (see here and here), we had plenty of time to have fun at home. For some reason little kids find the sofa arm coverings quite intriguing. They make great hats. And we learned not to expect to find them on the couch for the week. We also weren't expecting to hear the piano being played so beautifully, but we did. Piano lessons are paying off and they're doing great. Keep up the good work!

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday dinner, complete with Nanaimo Cake to celebrate Sam's birthday.

Grandpa had the awesome idea to give Sam a remote control helicopter as a birthday gift. In addition to practicing flying skills, there was plenty of time for playing other games. My recent favorite is Qwirkle; Dallin's is Stratego. Do you have a favorite?

Look at those cute kids! Even the super early morning departure just added to the memory making moments.
