Never Bored in February

Here's a round up of our activities in February. Plenty to do to keep us busy!

Picnic Day - If we were fishermen, maybe we would have cast a line at the fishing pier at Pippin Park. However, we're not, so we just walked around a bit and then enjoyed our picnic lunch.

Beach Day - South Beach Boca Raton - We didn't actually go swimming, so we'll be back, but we had a great time anyway.

Baptism Day - We may be in the middle of a pandemic, but the missionaries serving in Belle Glade are still working hard and finding people to baptize. Tomas is a wonderful addition to our branch, and so are his cute kids!

Grandma Duty Days - It's nice being able to help our kids when they need help with their kids. Momma was out of town and Dad had to work, so I got to spend time with these cute grandsons for a couple of days. After school work and piano lessons at home, we were off to gymnastics and swim practice, with a stop at the local park. It was fun, but I'm glad the days of busy schedules with frequent chauffering are over.

Sewing Day - Robyn was feeling a little left out while I was helping Brooke make two new skirts, so I promised her I'd make her one for her birthday. We missed out on the grandma/granddaughter shopping trip part of the gift, but I think she was happy with my selections, and I had an enjoyable time with my sewing project.

Hike Day - Frenchman's Natural Area - Such a great time we had exploring this beautiful preserve.

Gardening Days - Still trying to get vegetables to grow in our back yard! There are red tomatoes and yellow blossoms, but the birds and bugs got them before we could harvest them. So sad.

Valentine's Day - The holiday was on a Sunday this year. It seemed appropriate to play "Love One Another" as a piano solo in church. And we can't forget the yummy treats!

Another Hike Day - STA 3/4

Another Beach Day - Sunrise at Post #32

Temple Day - We've been so blessed that even with during the pandemic we were able to attend the temple with dear friends going through for the first time. Thank you, Shawni and Gina, for inviting us to participate in your special day.

Another Park DayPreservation Park in Royal Palm Beach

Genealogy Day - Roots Tech 2021 - the virtual version

Can't forget the new recipes we tried this month - February 2021 recipe posts.

And the new restaurant - Sushi Fans Cafe. Maybe sushi is growing on me.

Gyoza Soup, Salmon Set, Crunch Wrap & Shrimp Tempura
