Brad's Visit - At Home

Spring Break isn't quite the same when you don't have a regular school schedule to follow. However, it can still be quite exciting, especially when those who do have an actual spring break come to visit. We had a wonderful time with Brad's family, and saw a bit more of Weston's family as well. You can see all the fun we had on these posts:

Visit to Jonathan Dickinson State Park

Visit to the Science Museum

Visit to Everglades National Park

Visit to the Beach

Visit to the Pool

Those posts cover what we did away from home, but we also enjoyed time together at home doing the normal, every day things, particularly as they relate to food. Pancakes should be eaten with great joy and enthusiasm, don't you think?

In honor of Pi Day, we had pie for dinner! First pizza pie, then chocolate pie.

They were also in town for St. Patrick's Day. We celebrated that special day, first with Lucky Charms for breakfast.

Megan graciously hosted dinner, which included a traditional Corned Beef and vegetables, but also a most delicious Potato Leek Soup and green grapes, pudding and cookies for dessert.

Bouncing on the trampoline made Adam thirsty. He was thrilled to be able to share Grandpa's sparkling water!

Not everything was related to food. We watched movies, played games, explored the backyard, and read stories. Then one morning, we woke up super early, drove them to the airport and said good-bye. Looking forward to another visit someday!
