Sunrise - Post #69

Unlike our last beach sunrise - which was nice and calm - this morning's trip was very windy (25 mph winds). The waves were crashing and we were pelted with sand; however, there were zero insects to bother us. The actual sun was hidden behind clouds, but the full moon behind us was beautiful. Isn't all the variety in nature wonderful?

Once we saw a bit of the sun's rays peeking through the clouds, we decided it was time to leave and go get some breakfast. We weren't paying enough attention to the surf during that conversation and got caught by an errant wave! (You'll note that I had already planned for the possibility - the tide was coming in - and had previously moved my chair further back on the sand.) Fortunately, no harm (or wet feet) was caused by our inattention.

As usual, we checked for the next access point so that we'll be ready for our next trip. It was a beautiful start to a lovely day.
