Beach Day

Bal Harbour Beach doesn't have a designated parking lot, so we found at spot in the parking garage for the Bal Harbour Shops. Fortunately, it was a short 1/4 mile walk down 96th Street to Collins Avenue and the entrance to the public beach, where we find a nice spot to set up our chairs and umbrella.

After Wayne walked north to the Haulover Inlet and back, we went swimming for a bit. Then I walked along the beach - only about half of his distance - before we ate our sandwiches. We weren't entirely positive on how much our parking would be, and the gray clouds were building, so we packed up and headed home. We had a lovely experience for our first excursion from our new second home!
