Halpatiokee Regional Park - Sixth Visit

 

Tuesday was hike day! We had a wonderful time exploring the western side of Halpatiokee Park. There were a couple hiking-only trails, several biking-only trails, and some multi-use trails and boundary roads connecting everything. Along our route we were surprised to discover a beautiful little picnic pavilion, so once we were done we went back (it was accessible by car) to eat our lunch and try out our new chairs, compliments of our children for Mother's Day and Father's Day. It was warm and humid, but still a delightful excursion, and the little lake we walked around was gorgeous and peaceful.
