Manatee Lagoon

It's too bad that our best day to play tourist schedule-wise was not on the best day weather-wise, but that didn't stop us from having fun. Soon after arriving at Manatee Lagoon, that dark cloud dumped some rain on us. Fortunately, that gave us time to see some of the indoor exhibits before heading out onto the top deck. Even more fortunately, there were actually a few manatee swimming around in the water. We could have stayed there longer watching for their noses to appear, but the kids were anxious to get to the ocean, so off we went to nearby Ocean Reef Park.
