Halpatiokee Regional Park - Fifth Visit

We took the nature trail on our last visit to Halpatiokee Park and learned at that time that more trails had been created, so off we went to check them out. These trails happen to be intertwined with mountain biking trails. I doubt we'll ever rent bikes and take those trails, but maybe you might be interested in doing so!

We started by retracing our steps from last time, heading directly south to the park's boundary. Then we wound our way north back to the parking lot traversing trails on the east side of the park. Next time we'll explore the trails on the west side.

We found some beautiful little lakes along the way.

It's nice that every so often there's a map posted, but unfortunately, they don't have mileages marked. Fortunately, though, our phone app showed we walked 4.44 miles. That's not too bad for a nice little hike.

We had a wonderful time on this gorgeous autumn day!
