Quimby Oak Junior High Yearbooks

I've been feeling a bit of nostalgia for my years in junior high. So many wonderful memories. What great times we had! Time to put together a little snapshot of my life then for my grandchildren, some of whom are the same age now. This post includes pictures from my yearbooks for 7th and 8th grade. I played the oboe in our school band.

I accompanied the school choir.

I participated in the annual musical - "Annie Get Your Gun" - as Annie's sister, Jessie.

My older brother, Tony, was in 8th grade when I was in 7th grade.

When I was in 8th grade, my brother, George, and sister, Louise, were in 7th grade.

I continued to play the oboe in the school band, accompany the choir on the piano, and participated in the school musical. This year we did "Finian's Rainbow" and I was even talked into auditioning for the lead, Sharon. And I got the part! We had a great time, but since it's no longer "politically correct" you probably haven't even heard of the play.

I was part of Student Council as well.
