Hallandale Beach South

 

We finished visiting all of the public beaches in Broward County today and decided that Hallandale Beach South is a great beach. There's a decent-sized parking lot (although you do have to pay); the walk to the beach isn't too far; the restrooms are spacious and well-maintained; and there are extra amenities like a playground, sand volleyball court, and several picnic tables.

Because it's four miles to the next beach, instead of doing a round-trip walk, I dropped Wayne off at Sunny Isles Beach and he walked one-way north to Hallandale Beach. Look at the beautiful day we had! 

We'll have to remember to get an early start next time, because Sunny Isles has a small parking lot. I love that checking out where to park on future trips is part of our routine.
