Savannah's Special Day

 

Our travel to Texas was not without some drama, but we made it in time for Savannah's baptism, and that's all that really matters. We even had time to help make the chocolate muffins she had requested when they were out of stock at Costco.

Little sister thought they were delicious as well!

Savannah was so excited to be baptized! And we're so grateful for her excitement!! She's ready to make covenants with Heavenly Father, to follow Jesus Christ and be an example for others.

The program included a talk on baptism by her mom - the KITKAT reminder of the covenants we make - and a talk on the Holy Ghost by her grandpa. About 30 family members and friends came to support her, (including Great-grandma Joyce and Great-aunt Nat who made the delicious "8" sugar cookies), and we'll all have beautiful, fond memories of this special day.

Younger brother can hardly wait until it's his turn! Only two more years or so!!
