Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail - Day 4

After three days of hiking on the dike, our feet were pretty blistered, so we took a day off to give them a chance to heal a bit before heading back out to the lake. Fortunately, this particular section - from Pahokee to Canal Point - was only four miles. Eight miles round trip wasn't too bad compared to twelve, and we finished early enough to get adequate rest at home before returning to hike another segment the next day.
