Little Calumet River Trail

 

I'm not quite sure what I expected this trail to be like, but it ended up being a delightful walk through a meadow/prairie filled with wildflowers. Then it looped around through forested areas to join the Bailly/Chellberg system, so we were able to complete all those trails. We also took the time to walk around the old farm buildings. Occasionally, these are the sites for some living history demonstrations, but not on this day. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring The Little Calumet River Trail.

Made it back to the car!
