Hobart Prairie

 

In order to reach the start of the Hobart Prairie Trail, you need to first drive about 25 miles southwest from the main part of the national park, and then go partway down a section of the Oak Savannah Multi-Use Trail. We parked at the west end of this marked segment, and after doing the Hobart Prairie hike, continued to the east end before returning to our car. As you can see, it was a cloudy, rainy day, but after a while we were able to put away our umbrellas.
