Kidscape Park

 

Our first activity of 2024 was a quick picnic lunch at Kidscape Park. We were glad we remembered to bring our sweatshirts, but it was still a beautiful day and a nice little outing.

Our little description of this park stated it was popular, and it definitely was. We were there on a weekday and so were several young families. There were a lot of kids using the play structure, which was safely fenced.

If we had come with grandchildren, maybe we would have eaten our lunch using the picnic tables within the fence, but we didn't need to keep an eye on kids playing on the playground, so we used a table in the pavilion near the restroom. Even there we weren't alone; some construction workers used the neighboring tables for their lunch break. Happy New Year!
