Brad's Visit - Beach Day #2

 

Due to cloudy and windy weather, Beach Day #2 wasn't quite as enjoyable as Beach Day #1, but we still wanted to get in one more trip before our visitors went back to the snow, so we went to DuBois Park anyway. The actual ocean piece had warning flags flying, but the little lagoon off the river was calm and we (the kids) enjoyed playing in the water, building a sandcastle, finding tiny hermit crabs, climbing the pirate ship and eating lunch.

We had to head on over to the beach itself one more time before leaving and then get sidetracked by the pirate ship playground before getting into the car. All-in-all, it was a wonderful day.
