Limestone Creek Natural Area

 

Time for another little hike! This one was a little over two miles, starting with the "nature trail" and then continuing along the perimeter of Limestone Creek Natural Area. Once again, it was a gorgeous day in Florida and we had a great time. Now it's time for the pictures to speak for themselves.

The fishing pier is closed for reconstruction, but the "real" trail starts there and was quite beautiful.

Today's new knowledge - the spiny orange pods that I've seen before have red seeds inside. The plant is the Balsam Apple.
