The Flight West

Our flight to Salt Lake left Fort Lauderdale nice and early, but because the middle seat was empty, that meant I kept the window seat and was able to take pictures.

It's always fun to recognize from the air places we've visited in person. There's the pier at Dania Beach, our last beach day location.

As we flew over Utah Lake, I tried to spot our daughter's house. It's somewhere down there. The airstrip where we took off a few years ago on our little jaunt to Manti was more obvious.

Watching our plane's shadow as we landed was also quite intriguing. Right now the middle seat on our return trip is still empty; I wonder if it will stay that way!
