Jupiter Farms Picnic

 

The next county park on the list was Jupiter Farms Park. The description mentioned nothing about barbecue grills, so we packed a regular picnic and hopped in the car. It was a beautiful day to do some exploring! 

I imagine this particular park can get quite busy on the weekends, with several ball fields and even an equestrian ring, but on a weekday afternoon we pretty much had the place to ourselves. (While we were there, three or four other people came to eat their own lunch. I imagine it was a nice break to their workday.) And since we didn't bring any children with us, the playground stayed empty.
