Downers Park

 

Technically, I guess this is called Downers Dog Park, but we don't have a dog, and there's more to this than just the fenced in dog areas - a baseball field, a single pavilion with restrooms, a few picnic tables, a grill, a playground, and a 1/2 mile exercise circuit. The boys came with us and we had a grand time on our picnic (not so grand a time in the car on the way there and back!), even if it was a sunny, warm day and there wasn't a lot of shade. There was enough so we weren't miserable.

The "map my walk" trail from the exercise circuit turned out to be quite funky, don't you agree?

Perfect timing! The sprinkles started as we were loading the car.
