New River Gorge - Park Loop

The Park Loop starts at the edge of a far parking lot at the Fayetteville City Park, and we figured it wouldn't be too onerous to hike this easy trail in the rain. We were correct, and fortunately it was an intermittent sprinkle, not a steady downpour.

This trail had several junctions with other trails. This first one was with the Fayetteville Trail, which we had seen previously. However, we continued on to the next Fayetteville Trail junction, and took that one in order to complete that particular trail

It ends at the Bridge Trail, at which point we retraced our steps back to the previous junction. The orange tags and blue signs were new; it turns out they were in preparation for some race the next day.

One last turn, and then we were back at the car, ready to head to our next hike.
