New River Gorge - Endless Wall

 

Another one of the "must do" hikes at New River Gorge was Endless Wall, and it lived up to its reputation. It's a beautiful hike, mostly flat, with incredible views, particularly at the overlook spur.

Parking for this hike can be a bit of a pain, so get there early! It's a 2 1/2 mile hike, with a 1/2 mile road walk (with no sidewalks, so be careful) between the two endpoints. And the parking areas (one at each end) are NOT well marked. (Lack of helpful signage was our main complaint for this national park.)
