Visiting the Elementary School

During our visit, we stopped by the elementary school a couple of times. Once was to enjoy (or at least tolerate - it was a bit noisy) lunch with the school kids. (We were privileged to participate in two lunch periods, since the kindergartners and 2nd graders don't eat at the same time.) Second (but really first) was to pick them up after school and let them get some excercise on the playground. How many schools are you aware of with cabooses in their yard?

It was a delightfully beautiful spring day, and we appreciated the sunshine and warm temperatures, because they didn't last!
