Robyn's Special Day

We love how each baptism is unique. Robyn shared hers with another girl in her ward, whose teenaged sister played the saxophone for the musical number. I doubt we'll ever experience that again! During the baptismal service, we felt the Spirit, appreciated the fact that this ordinance is sweet and simple, and enjoyed being there with family and friends to witness this important step in Robyn's life.

It was cold, but sunny, so we took pictures outside, before heading back to the house for some very delicious food and lots of playing and visiting.

The toys and games inside were well used, along with the trampoline, swing set and pickleball net outside. So many fun options for kids!

Robyn loves babies! She'll be a great mother someday. (This is her barely one-year-old cousin Addy.)

I already mentioned that our meals were delicious. Robyn's choice for her celebration dessert was Heath Bar Cake, a family favorite. Silly girl didn't want the "poke" part of the recipe, so she got a special cake topped with just whipped cream and toffee bits, but no sweetened condensed milk or caramel sauce. Which version would you have selected?
