Butterfly Biosphere

Field  trip time! We decided the Butterfly Biosphere at Thanksgiving Point would be a great activity for young kids on a cold winter day. The cousins had a grand time, and it certainly was warm.

I particularly loved how the older girls mothered their little cousins. Theo was entranced with the blow tube.

The two-story slide was also a hit. At first Theo was a bit leery about it, but after one trip down, he was ready to go one his own, over and over and over.

 

The playground area was lots of fun, but we did make time to visit the actual butterflies before leaving, and that was enjoyable as well. Lots of great memories!
