Juno Park

 

Juno Park is a county park with several amenities - a boat ramp, playground, picnic area, basketball court, tennis court, and baseball fields. There's even an unmanned paddle board rental kiosk which we'll go back to try out some day. This trip, however, the plan was to play a game of tennis and then barbecue some hamburgers. There wasn't any rain in the forecast when we left, but as soon as we started playing tennis it started to pour! Fortunately, it didn't last long, and, once it stopped, we decided to do our walk around the park before resuming our game, allowing the court to dry out. And then we ate our lunch while watching the occasional boat sail past on the Intracoastal Waterway. What a pleasant way to spend the day!

It was such a pleasant day that we had to turn it into a little staycation by going out for some seafood for dinner! So grateful that's a possibility!! And we definitely enjoyed our delicious supper.
