A Saturday in Utah

How many activities can you fit into a single day? Actually quite a few. First was taking care of laundry, then we were off to a little neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt.

Every city egg hunt I've heard of (admittedly not a lot) took place on a grass field, but this one used a dirt corral. Although a bit dusty, it was still a perfect activity to get out of the house and run around for a while.

Grandpa kept his streak alive by winning a game of Monopoly, while Robyn claimed baby duty and the cute two-year-olds disassembled and reassembled the toy airplane over and over.

After a quick trip to the local park, we headed off to celebrate a birthday!

We ended the day by sharing a couple of family stories. For his entire life, Grandpa has wished for a solid chocolate Santa in his Christmas stocking and/or a solid chocolate bunny in his Easter basket. It's never happened. He didn't want his grandchildren to have that unmet desire, so he gave each of them a solid chocolate bunny of their own. (Those not in this picture will receive one some year in the future!)

Finally, Theo was being silly while getting his pajamas on while also remembering the turkey at the farm and Aunt Elizabeth found a book that she was sure he would love. Blue Hat, Green Hat is all about a turkey who puts on his clothes backwards and upside-down. Theo did love it!
