Atlantic Ridge Preserve State Park - The Second Visit

Even though it meant some bushwhacking through water, we enjoyed our first hike to this state park and looked forward to our second one.

For our hike this time, we started down River Road, to Post #1.

After admiring this stately tree, we headed on to Post #6, Then turned south, putting us on previously traversed trails. And, of course, we found some water to cross. Good thing it was a sunny, warm day.

Found one boundary line - south of Post #18 at the Seawind Canal, near a golf course.

After Posts #19 and 21, we continued east until we reached the park boundary. Then it was time to turn around and retrace our steps back to the car.

Success!
