Sunrise - Post #26

After two sunrises in September and none in October, one of our favorite activities came up on the November calendar. A cold front arrived this weekend, but it was going to be a sunny day, so we decided to go check out the sunrise anyway.

We bundled up and enjoyed a chilly morning at the beach. (We'll admit that 60 degrees is nothing compared to the freezing temperatures our children are enjoying!)

We got to see crashing waves with captivating spray, and even watched the sun come up over the horizon - albeit through the clouds - before disappearing behind some thicker clouds and then reappearing a bit later. 

I wonder if another visit before the end of the year will make it onto our calendar!
