Bear Lake Reunion - Hiking without Kids

As we came out of Logan Canyon, to this beautiful view of Bear Lake, we realized there was a little visitor's center at the overview. 

We stopped and picked up some brochures, which included a list of hikes in the area. Guess who wanted to start at the top of the list? So, the next day while the parents were getting little kids ready for the lake, we took off and enjoyed the hike up Swan Creek.

It was a beautiful morning! We didn't reach "the" peak, but we did find "a" peak, with a gorgeous overview of the lake.

It's been a while since we've hiked mountain trails, and our legs felt it, but it was still a wonderful outing. Then it was off to the lake!
