Michael's Blessing Day

Some pandemic protocols were still in place, but others had lifted and we were grateful for the opportunity to travel to Michigan to participate in Michael's special day.

We're so grateful our sons are honoring their priesthood and doing their best to lead their families in righteousness. And we're grateful for this recent crop of grandsons who will carry the torch in the future. (Five in a row - William, Austin, Joshua, Theo and now Michael!)

Two and three year olds are NOT interested in posing for pictures! And then they had to go home before the meeting was over, so the "after pictures" are missing the guest of honor. However, we need to document that Michael was blessed by his dad, with Uncle Brad and Grandpa Wayne assisting.

Michael's a happy, healthy, much-loved little boy!

cousins - Robyn, Adam, Brooke

After lunch, we took a walk around the University of Michigan north campus, to see where Steven worked pre-pandemic, and to help release some pentup kid energy.

And after dinner, William helped Grandpa take the trash to the big container. In a couple of years, it will be Michael's turn. However, it doesn't really matter which little person goes along, I love images like this of Wayne helping the next generation follow in his footsteps.
