Around the House in Ann Arbor

 

While it's nice to explore new places, we usually travel to spend time with family. Interacting with them at home really helps you get to know them. We learned that William loves talking to himself as he plays. My favorite time with him was reading Mercer Mayer's book, Just Me and My Mom. I loved the way he pronounced the author's name, and was amazed that he knew where to find the tape so we could repair the book before reading it!

One of William's favorite activities is to rearrange the kitchen cupboards. Another favorite pastime, along with everyone else, is playing with the baby.

One of Robyn's favorite activities is hosting dance parties. Too bad the above pictures don't do it justice.

It's not "in" the house, but the community center with its picnic table and grill is "around" the house, so these pictures get included with this post.

Some were taken outside, but most inside. We still have to wait a few years before these cute kids will understand the concept behind posed family pictures.

Having visitors is exhausting work! Thanks for letting us upset your routine for a few days!!!
