Return to Hungryland Slough

We enjoyed our second hike at Hungryland Slough just as much as the first one. It was another beautiful day!

So many gorgeous little flowers along the trail! My pictures can't do them justice.

This time around we had a few companions. 

Unlike the alligator we came across in Myakka, the one not already in the water returned there quickly as we approached. We appreciated that little fact!
