Deerfield Beach

One of the things I liked about Deerfield Beach was that every so often there were piles of rocks on the sand, creating little private coves, or at least they could have been if there were fewer people around. We set up our chairs on the southern, less crowded, section of the beach, and Wayne walked north to the city pier and then south to the end of the island, guarded by the Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse. I enjoyed reading a book, but then after a short swim and some lunch took my own walk. What a beautiful day!
