Hot Hike in Homestead

It may have been a very warm day, but at least the bugs weren't as bothersome as last time. And it was an absolutely gorgeous day, perfect for a dike hike, or for reading in the shade. Which would you choose?

Wayne chose the hike.

I chose reading at the nearby visitor's center.

Then I picked him up and we drove to our picnic spot.

The parking area was a bit swampy!

And the grass needed mowing, but the wildflowers were beautiful!
