Rudolph Day - Lights

I love the symbolism of Christmas stars, which was the topic of last month’s post, and that symbolism is carried into any form of light.

The new star at the first Christmas announced that the Light of the World had come. Any light any time of year should help us remember Him, but I’m grateful that we can fill our homes and yards at Christmas time with lights to make that remembering even more pronounced.

Not only can Christmas lights remind us that Jesus Christ is the Light of the World, they can bring warmth and brightness into our homes.  They can also remind us to be lights to others and to help others come unto Christ. Those activities don’t have to wait until December. What are you doing today to be a light to the world?
